Occupational Health Services and Sickness Absence

The Scottish Hazards Campaign has consistently voiced concern about workers' lack of access to occupational health services.  It campaigns for a comprehensive Occupational Health Service to be provided through the NHS free at the point of need, available to both employers and employees. For additional background information, see the STUC Strategy: Improving Occupational Health Services in Scotland

The Campaign has been increasingly concerned about inappropriate and unfair sickness absence management policies and practices.

In 2009, the Campaign hosted a seminar on Occupational Health Services and Sickness Absence.
